When the Internet first made its debut, programmers and designers and to painstakingly go through line after line of code, just to make a blue background and red font. For complex design pages, hundreds of thousands of lines of code were required to create the website. Coding is still used today, but more so with major sites, such as search engines, in order to determine what pages make up the top hits on the site. For the standard Web page, tools to create the best Internet site are vastly different, as it is far easier to create a website now. You don’t need a 10,000 page book of different codes in order to create a site. You just need a basic Internet connection.

There are Web building websites currently online that allow you to build a site from the ground up. This includes adding text, pictures and video, without the need of coding (the website codes the information for you). Often times this is available for free. In the near future, you won’t need to purchase software capable of creating Flash based designs, as these free websites will be able to add the Flash material directly to the website, without any expensive program.
